FAQ

Does this require WooCommerce?

No. The core widget works on any WordPress site. WooCommerce order context is a Pro feature and only activates when WooCommerce is installed.

Does this work with a self-hosted Chatwoot instance?

Yes. Any Chatwoot instance reachable over HTTPS works. Enter its address as the Chatwoot URL on the settings screen.

Are logged-in users identified automatically?

Yes. When a visitor is logged in to WordPress, the plugin passes their user ID, display name, and email to Chatwoot's setUser SDK method.
